Foundational C# certification at freeCodeCamp
I recently completed the Foundational C# with Microsoft certification on freeCodeCamp, and I highly recommend it - especially since it’s completely free.
freeCodeCamp have a large number of free certifications to help you learn to code, covering everything from Responsive Web Design to Machine Learning with Python .
The Foundational C# with Microsoft course immediately caught my eye.
Although I’ve been working with .NET and C# since initial release, I saw this as a great opportunity validate my existing knowledge, and maybe even pick up some new along the way.
It also gave me the push I need to finally start something I’ve been wanting to do for a while - launch a tech blog. This course felt like a great starting point for creating useful, relevant content.
I’ve gone back through all the certification questions and written up my thoughts, including insights into the possible answers and guidance on how to approach solving them.
The course itself is structured around content hosted on the Microsoft Learn platform. After completing each lesson there, you return to freeCodeCamp to answer a related question, reinforcing what you’ve just learned in a practical way.
